Attorney Jacob Gillette graduated summa cum laude from Slippery Rock University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, earning a 4.0 GPA. During his undergraduate studies, he completed an internship with the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee, where he developed a strong interest in the relationship between legislation and its financial impact on public policy.
While attending Widener Commonwealth Law School, Attorney Gillette was awarded the General Carl E. Mundy Jr. and Linda Sloan Mundy Marine Scholarship and pursued a concentration in administrative law.
During law school, he clerked at Crisp and Associates for over two years, where he assisted in legal research, case preparation, and drafting briefs on a variety of administrative and civil legal matters. His work involved assembling documentation for use in administrative appeals, preparing written responses to adverse records, and developing case materials for regulatory review and correction proceedings.
In addition to his time at Crisp and Associates, Attorney Gillette served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinic. There, he represented clients in no-fault divorces, consumer bankruptcy filings, unemployment compensation claims, and landlord/tenant disputes, developing hands-on experience with a wide range of civil legal issues.
Attorney Gillette earned his Juris Doctor and Administrative Law Certificate from Widener Commonwealth Law School. His passion for client advocacy and his strong attention to detail make him a reliable advocate for individuals facing complex administrative and civil challenges.
