Born and raised in Colorado, Attorney Kollmann earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado State University, concentrating on environmental policy and philosophy. During this time, he developed a strong interest in administrative law and social justice. After welcoming his first daughter during his senior year, he set his sights on law school.

With a scholarship to Widener Commonwealth School of Law, Attorney Kollmann relocated his family across the country to pursue his Juris Doctor. While attending Widener full-time, he welcomed his second daughter and worked as a law clerk at Crisp and Associates for over two years. He soon became Attorney Jonathan Crisp’s primary clerk, gaining extensive hands-on experience with criminal cases.

His work involved case management, legal research, and drafting motions, rebuttals, and petitions related to administrative and criminal proceedings. He later became Lead Intern at the firm, mentoring younger law students and deepening his understanding of complex legal processes. These experiences solidified his commitment to becoming a criminal defense attorney.

Attorney Kollmann also broadened his legal education by exploring business law. He interned with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, Bureau of Consumer Protection, where he gained experience in corporate litigation, regulatory enforcement, and product liability. He further studied bankruptcy, federal taxation, and related business topics. As a competitor in the Scheer-Widener Innovation Sprint, he earned certifications in Digital Start-Up and Innovative Business. He graduated with both a Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Business Advising.

Attorney Kollmann’s commitment, attention to detail, and objectivity underscore his ability to advocate for his clients in all legal settings. He works tirelessly to protect each client’s rights and ensure they receive fair and effective representation.
